In this blog post, I want to show you how to make vegan olive and garlic flatbread. When I was working on my hemp seed hummus recipe I suddenly realized that I didn’t have any bread to go with it. Instantly, I decided to whip up a bread recipe that would go well with it.
This flatbread will go great with the hummus, but also as a side with your soup or a stew. It is now one of my favorite recipes and I’ve made it a few time now, so I wanted to share it with you.
These flatbreads are so easy to prepare and then you bake them on a frying pan instead of in the oven which will give them a fun crispy texture.

I feel like I’m standing at the bottom of the mountain again. Sometimes this has felt like an unachievable task, starting from the ground again. But I’ve been here before when I started steina.is. This time, however, I feel like I’m equipped with more tools and helpful tips to get me started. I know I’m starting fresh, on a new domain. I have no DA yet, my website isn’t fully built but I’m so happy my heart could explode.
www.steina.is is gone! Well, at least somewhat resting for now. You can still type in the URL and it will land you here on a bite of kindness. So many people already know steina.is and it’s only fair that they can still reach me through that URL.
Beautiful new website
This feels a bit bittersweet, I had put a lot of work in creating a beautiful webpage, I truly loved what I had accomplished. But I felt like I couldn’t reach my full potential with that domain. After I switched to English I didn’t feel truly authentic with my Icelandic domain name. There was a connection missing. So I felt the only right thing to do was to rebrand.
I’ve had this vision for a while now, I wanted to find a way to be more relatable to my friends who don’t speak Icelandic. The old domain was according to some a bit hard to understand and also wasn’t related to my niche. This beautiful domain came to me one day when I was thinking about what I wanted to call my website. I wanted it to reflect kindness, the connection to food, of course, and be in English.
This was the perfect name for my blog so I hurried up and grabbed it and I am so happy with it. Now starts the fun part. Writing blogs again, building the website with fantastic recipes, educating and entertaining blog posts and pictures. I hope you’ll hop on the journey with me!
So here I am, still Steina, but with a new beautiful domain name that finally reflects what I want my webpage to stand for. Kindness and good bite 🙂
